Underdog - Season 2 - Eps 43: Simon Says.. No Thanksgiving, Part 3
After arriving in 1621, Underdog and Sweet Polly meet the pilgrims, and Underdog proves that they're friendly when he does favors for them. Meanwhile, Simon poses as an Indian medicine man and tricks the Indians into thinking that the pilgrims are attacking them, having Cad fire weapons from behind a tree. After both the Indians' reservation and the pilgrims' settlement are destroyed, Simon and Cad return to the 20th century where the Thanksgiving Day Parade and all the remnants of Thanksgiving are gone. With this interference out of the way, Simon gives his army the signal and the villain's armed forces begin their assault on the city. In the past, Underdog and Polly try to stop the war between the Indians and the Pilgrims, but neither side is willing to stop fighting and apologize.

Synopsis
Underdog, also known as The Underdog Show, is an American Saturday morning animated television series that ran from October 3, 1964, to March 4, 1967, starting on the NBC network until 1966, with the rest of the run on CBS, under the primary sponsorship of General Mills, for a run of 62 episodes. It is one of the early Saturday morning cartoons. The show continued in syndication until 1973. Underdog, Shoeshine Boy's heroic alter ego, appears whenever love interest Sweet Polly Purebred is being victimized by such villains as Simon Bar Sinister or Riff Raff. Underdog nearly always speaks in rhyming couplets, as in "There's no need to fear, Underdog is here!"
