Underdog - Season 2 - Eps 21: Pain Strikes Underdog, Part 1
Sweet Polly Purebred calls on Underdog to remind him that it's his birthday, and that she plans to give him a party. Meanwhile, the curator in London wishes to loan the famous Excalibur Sword Collection to the San Francisco Museum. Fearing that someone will steal try to steal it, they send a message to Underdog for his assistance to guard the collection. While en route via train, Riff Raff and his gang attempt to steal the sword collection by derailing the train. When the train wrecks, Underdog engages Riff in a duel with the sword collection that was scattered from the wreck. Riff and the gang flee and Underdog attempts to put the train back on the track but seems to be in pain from his back. An ambulance is rushed to the site.

Synopsis
Underdog, also known as The Underdog Show, is an American Saturday morning animated television series that ran from October 3, 1964, to March 4, 1967, starting on the NBC network until 1966, with the rest of the run on CBS, under the primary sponsorship of General Mills, for a run of 62 episodes. It is one of the early Saturday morning cartoons. The show continued in syndication until 1973. Underdog, Shoeshine Boy's heroic alter ego, appears whenever love interest Sweet Polly Purebred is being victimized by such villains as Simon Bar Sinister or Riff Raff. Underdog nearly always speaks in rhyming couplets, as in "There's no need to fear, Underdog is here!"
