Underdog - Season 1 - Eps 30: From Hopeless To Helpless, Part 3
Tap Tap, disguised as Underdog, has been going all over the place committing crimes. After stealing the mayor's cigars, he goes back to the hideout of Riff Raff and begins to cut the Hopeless Diamond into pieces. Meanwhile, the real Underdog escapes the cave he is trapped in and flies back to town, where he gets shot at everywhere. Underdog is naturally confused, so he visits the mayor who is mad at him for stealing his cigars. Underdog visits the last person who is sure trusts him, Sweet Polly Purebred. Unfortunately, she too doesn't believe him and is upset at Underdog's actions, and he is taken away to jail, much to Underdog's shock.

Synopsis
Underdog, also known as The Underdog Show, is an American Saturday morning animated television series that ran from October 3, 1964, to March 4, 1967, starting on the NBC network until 1966, with the rest of the run on CBS, under the primary sponsorship of General Mills, for a run of 62 episodes. It is one of the early Saturday morning cartoons. The show continued in syndication until 1973. Underdog, Shoeshine Boy's heroic alter ego, appears whenever love interest Sweet Polly Purebred is being victimized by such villains as Simon Bar Sinister or Riff Raff.
