Joy and Chris are running late for school. If Chris gets one more ticket by the school's strict, letter-of-the-law student Hall Monitor, he'll find himself in after-school detention. When Chris enlists Gizmo's help to try to camouflage their way into school, his plan doesn't work. He and Joy get caught. Chris begs for mercy, knowing full well this thorn-in-his-side won't budge. The Hall Monitor has no interest in giving Chris special treatment over anyone else. Chris' attitude about how unlikable this guy is-even though Chris is in the wrong and the guy is just doing his job-prompts Superbook's arrival. Chris thinks he can escape to a place where he is king of his own world. Only this time, Superbook brings the Hall Monitor back with them!
